In short yes POV is the winner.
Bryce is good on landscapes and atmospheric scenes, but falls down in many
areas, and View'd Esprite (sp?), is probably much better on landscapes.
You can create a nice looking scene quickly with Bryce but it lacks the
power and controle of the likes of POV. I personally found the interface
very confusing, and have heard others say the same.
Others may be able to give you a more up to date opinion on Bryce, it's some
time since I've used it.
