You can't reuse POV's code in other projects. That's the one he doesn't like,
if I had to guess. Certain people are forbidden from distributing POV. There
is a limit to how much money you can charge for a copy. Certain modifications
to the source code are not allowed, even in a custom version. You need to get
the permission of the Team to distribute it in certain ways.
There are a few differences, but none that affect the average POV user too
significantly.
