I get I/O restriction errors on a few of the textures before pov-ray
renders. Can I go to the options and check no restrictions or will this
cause a problem?

Well I went ahead and checked the no restrictions and things seem to be
okay. I was really using povray there for a bit but kind of got away from
it fighting with poser 6. I did note that poseray was updated.

You can edit the "povray.ini" adding "Library_Path=" pointing to your external
folder. You also need to edit "pvengine.ini" file and add the same path in the
[Permitted Input Paths] section (the first one).
This will allow you to keep I/O restrictions active and access your files and
textures. Those restrictions are there for security reason. Usualy, removing
those restrictions don't cause any problem.
