Hi all,

I have started using the POV-Ray editor to edit Visual Basic Scripting files
and SQL Query files as the CodeMax editor has colour coding support for
Basic and SQL files. Is is possible to get additional language support for
the CodeMax Editor for other file types, such as HTML and ASP?

Why not just use another editor?  Or is that a bad idea?  Seems another
person is looking for the same thing as you:

But I can see why you'd want it all-in-one instead.
VIM looks interesting, someone even made it possible to do POV-Ray language:
http://www.vim.org/  and look into the Languages link down that page.

100% free, available for Windows and Linux (under Gnome, I think). It
supports C, C++. C#, VB, Resouce, VBScript, JavaScript, Java, SQL,
XML, HTML, Python, Perl, batch files, Makefile, diff, Apache conf,
LaTeX, PHP and others.

Supports most of CodeMax's features except multiline typing. But I'll
be getting in contact with the author soon to provide this
functionality, too.

Ah, thanks!  I was looking for an alternative to EditPlus, because it's day
546 of 30 in my 30-day evaluation period with it :-)

Excellent recommendation! :-)
It doesn't support syntax highlighting of PoV-Ray sources, though (yet!),
although using the C lexer would be a good workaround.
I may write a lexer for it some day... At least, start to add the keyword
list to the default configuration distribution.
