I'm curious whether a new MegaPOV will be released now that POV 3.6
is out, and if so will it include HDRI support? Don't mean to be a
bother, but I hope so.
Thanks,
Harold

Will be released as soon as possible which of course can mean equally two
weeks and two years ;-) At least we have to wait for the release of 3.6
sources and we need some unspecified amount of time after it but we will try
to make it quickly.

Most probably.

Don't worry you bother. That's nice that somebody still waits for it ;-)

Oh, there's more than just one of us out here :-)
I'm hoping that the aoi (angle of incidence) pattern will make it in this
time.
When the v3.6 source comes out I'll probably have another look at the slope
pattern. It would be good if the 'up' vector rotated with the pattern.
Another idea I have is to add different mappings to the pattern (ie
spherical, cylindrical, toroidal), but this is just vapourware at the
moment.

I hope that finish maps will be included too.

Nice hand-rendering your wish-chain.

If possible SMPOV will support also the new Mega-POV.
Also because the 3.6 gives me error-messages in cooperation with the new
3.6.POV-Ray Editor.
