I have POV3.5g installed. I copied megapov.exe to the pov bin directory.
When i start Megapov, I get the following Critical Error message box...

ERROR : Cannot find Home entry in registry.

This entry should have been set by the installation program.

If you did not install using the correct installation procedure, please do
this before running POV-Ray for Windows. Otherwise, consult the README.DOC
file tha sould have accompanied this executable file.

//end of error message

FYI - I am running Win2K, but it worked the last time that I installed POV
on another machine with Win2K.

Any helpful ideas?

I meant POV3.5 not 3.5g.
I am trying to use glows.

You need to have POV 3.1g installed in order to run MegaPov. A 3.5 install
is not sufficient. Follow the "Old Versions of POV-Ray" link at the bottom
of the download page on www.povray.org.

BTW, most of MegaPov's features are included and enhanced in POV 3.5.

Glows aren't covered in POV 3.5 are they?

No. There are other things you could do...partially transparent disks
facing the camera, spheres full of emitting media, or fill the entire
scene with scattering media, but they aren't as fast (disks or spheres
are more flexible though, and the scattering media more accurately
simulates what glows fake).
One of the lens flare includes should do the job fine.
