good catch! I'm still a long way off from that even today! :P

Actually, kinda of surprising to see Sam with this connection. I thought all
Americans were by now enjoying 30Mbps wi-fi connections from one of their 5 home
PC's... :P

5 PCs, yeah right!

I could get a higher internet connect, but satellite and cable cost too
much, and DSL isn't available where I live. I do live in the "sticks"
after all ;) On the plus side, I'll be making lots of snow castles this
year :D

Just ordered my tablet, BTW. An intuos4, medium size. It'll take some
getting used to, but at least I'll be able to go further than I could
with traditional media (and save paper ;P)

Curiosity, where did you order yours from? Wondering if one of us got a
better deal. :)

Got it at bhphotovideo.com for $315.00, $333.55 plus shipping. There was
a instant discount. Won't receive it for 7-10 days though :(

Sounds cool to live very away from noisy and impersonal urban life. Except for
a lack of restaurants and stores around, I guess.

That's great, man! You'll be getting nuts with it, like I did... I mean, losing
some of your sleep just to get those final strokes... :D

That's not bad, got mine from buy.com for $309 IIRC, shipping included.
I think that was 3-5 business days as well.

Yeah. I can look East and know that there isn't another house for
hundreds of miles. I can just walk out my back door and get lost for
hours :)

It's very quiet until the neighbors come.

Or until somebody holds you hostage, at gunpoint... which actually
happened to me recently :S Let me tell you, sharing your house with
questionable characters - even old friends - can backfire on you :(

It'll be just like the time I discovered POV. No sleep (O_o)

Not too bad at all, since Wacom is selling them directly for about $350.

If you can't throw me the URL in email (remove removethis. and .invalid)
and I'll pre-chunk it for you (assuming the software is free to dl, I
didn't check).

Yeah, that was my thought. IIRC, I looked at pricewatch.com to see what
various prices were.
