Switch to covert operations and deploy NASCAR caps and banjos, repeat
deploy banjos.

You mean like those child-proof containers you have to get your
neighbour's 11-year old to open for you :-P Seriously though shouldn't a
safety catch be enough?

> And of course storing the gun unloaded is probably a wise move as well.

Which again defeats the purpose of a home defence weapon. If it's not
accessible and easy to use what's the point in having one? You might as
well stick to keeping a baseball bat by the side of the bed.

Yeah me too, it's just the 'it never used to be like this'. Yes it always
has been; same stuff, different terrain.

Ah of course, my apologies. In theory you should read the MSM and then the
independent press and make up your own mind. In theory you shouldn't have
to bother and the press should simply present what happened without adding
their own 'take' on matters.

Can't recall the source for this, but I read a story regarding a
journalist sent out to report on a murdered women found in a wood. Halfway
there he was called back, turned out she was black.

Who's living in denial?

This crap not only kills pests but innocent people too,
when a victim ingesting too much fluorine finds a gun.

Brain - Adverse Effects
Fluorinated and Fluoride Pesticides

http://www.fluoridealert.org/pesticides/effects.brain.a-e.htm

FDA aproved "rat poison" is what the shooter was taking if
the medications he was taking had any fluorine atoms in it.

Electro optic measurements suggest that the molecular length and position of
fluorine strongly influence the threshold voltage and anisotropic dielectric
constant.

So some doctor tried to use human fluoride pesticide (FDA aprroved so it must be
ok) on a family member? Wasnt you I hope. wait a minute ...

My god man its everywhere.

Next person you dare say friend to ... better check their fluoride levels.
Robots run on Fluorine. Until they explode all over you.

But if she had turned out to be a one-legged lesbian supporter of Ken
Livingstone then the Evening Standard would have sent him back :)

I know, I know. I spent 18 months in Sydney, living at the Cross. The local wild
life was truly horrendous. Especially around the time of the G & L parade. :)
I also worked at Taronga Zoo for a short while. Guess the stories I was told.
There was a Huntsman spider waiting for me outside my apartment door once. About
the size of a baby's fist, it gave me the collywobbles.

Fluoride is added to many municipal water supplies. The website you
linked has its britches in a bundle about that, too, except...if what
you're arguing is true, *everybody* should be running around with guns,
shooting up everybody else. But they're not. So maybe the danger is,
how do we say...exaggerated? Just a wee bit?

A great sentence from http://www.fluoridealert.org/media/2000d.html
reads, "Your dentist probably told you something different, but
Featherstone is a respected researcher and an authority on the subject."
You'd be hard-pressed to find a better example of fallacy from appeal
to authority.

Quite frankly, I don't buy this alarmist propaganda, simply due to
statistics. There would be a lot more obvious issues if this stuff was
really as much of a problem as is claimed.

Uhhh, from what I saw the shooter was off his meds when he did the
shooting for a couple weeks.

Also, by your logic fluoridated tap water is also "rat poison"
