Dear Jóhanna Sigurdardóttir*,

Whilst it is normal to allow a bank to seize your home if you leave your
mortgage unpaid, I am afraid that scattering your country over the rest
of Europe is completely unacceptable as a means of settling your debts.
Please also note that we said 'Send Cash' not 'Send Ash'

Yours etc.
Gordon Brown
Alastair Darling

*Prime Minister of Iceland

ROTFL !

This is even funnier in German - "ash" is slang for money! Come to think of
it: "gravel" is, too. ;-)

The last wish of Iceland's economy was to have its ashes scattered over Europe.

Hey, stop mocking Iceland - after all, they're role models in the fight
against global warming: Started with geothermal energy, now they have
found an efficient way to reduce northern and central Europe's kerosene
consumption by 90% or more, and apparently they're aiming at actively
increasing earth's albedo for the next few years... :-P

I just hope that the EU doesn't charge Iceland with another €2B for
causing economic troubles again.
