At the bottom of the message menu. It's not in the roght-click menu.

I'm not sure what that means, but you can sort by either column.

My primary regrets are that it doesn't seem to let me kill a sub-tree of a
thread, and it doesn't show the subject-list properly, as in it does not
always default to scrolling to the header of the post you're reading when
you change posts, nor does it consistently highlight the subject line of the
post you're reading.

There is a cancel option under Post, but I couldn't be bothered to use it
since I'm not overly worried about my name appearing a few times. My
phone numbers and my address are different matters.

Still don't see it. I'm using version 3.0b4.

Go to the menu View > Threads. There are some options allowing you to
select which threads to display by whether they are watched or unread.
However, you cannot say select ALL watched threads AND ALL unread threads.

Sure you can, I use pan to cancel posts all the time.

Looks like I missed it or was using an older version.

It's in 2.0.

You must've missed it, I used to use 0.14.x and it was in there as well
as in the 0.13x series that's current.

Showing up fine on 3.0b2. Same place Darren described it.

If you're feeling adventurous, switch to the 3.0 Beta. It's in 3.0b2
(and probably beyond).

I've been using it on these newsgroups since June, and so far have no
complaints.

That probably would have been a good reason to switch back when newsgroups
were still around and usable. :-)
