Ah yes - now I personally prefer Western guitars due to the thinner
neck, but nylon strings are of benefit to start with, too.
I hope you didn't buy the cheapest out there. A lot of people give up on
learning to play because they think they're not made for it, while in
fact it's their guitar that's not made for it :-P

Not exactly. A roommate is hardup for cash, so he had a yard sale.
Before the sale, he mentioned that he was selling one of his guitars as
well (he still has two others). I've always wanted to play, but never
gotten around to it, so I grabbed the chance :)

Sounds good. If he does have two more, chances are he knows a bit about
guitars and would refuse to ever owns trashy ones ;-)
