Math fail.
With a typical step being less than a meter, 10,000 steps obviously must be <10
km. So that's a 20% marathon at worst.
The maximum daily distance a healthy human can do on a continuous basis and stay
healthy is estimated at about 50 km. A 10,000 step challenge would mean to do
roughly 10% of that.
