   Again... ;)

No probs, but it is a big problem out there for the moment. (I.e., if you
have only access to one computer and internet, how do you find the
solution?) Basically, I was lucky and just started to back-track to what
happened when I had the net loaded up and working. (All the stuff in between
was a nightmare though!) oO

Yeah, here too. I checked a couple of known possibilities then went
straight for the support line. But catch22 there. Need to be online to
get the support line phone#. Solution: use the neighbours' wireless
network to find out the #. Waited 10 minutes for a live voice, accent
was tolerable. First thing out of his mouth? "Are you using Zone Alarm?"
Problem 'solved'.

Not using ZA, AVG is always up to date, but.. Last few days, I have had
my ISP simply disconnects, then my modem goes into "seeking",
*eventually* get a link, then spends a bit of time syncing with there
server. Then, it usually goes down several more times, rinse, repeat,
until it stays up...

Probably not related to the patch, but its an odd coincidence that it
started happening about when the patch probably hit the corporate world,
and its damned irritating, but not *quite* as irritating as spending 5+
minutes waiting for some tech to get on the phone, then having the
connecting go live again... :(
