I hate to sound cliche, but "if at first you don't succeed, try, and try
again."
After all, there's nothing wrong with "failing" a number of times. The
only time failure really matters, is when you give up trying. Until
then, it's just a temporary setback.

I get a 404 there.

You might consider exaggerating things on purpose. Drawing caricatures,
you don't need to worry so much about "what are the exact proportions",
as much as, "what are the key features?"

4chan is not known for the longevity of its threads. If it had been one
of the more active boards, I'd not've even been able to post a link
expecting even a day before 404. I'm reworking the hair, I'll post it
here when I'm done with that.

Well, it took 2 attempts to draw Ethan. But after 4 tries at Mr Duck, I
still have nothing remotely recognisible.
So I think we can safely conclude that this is, in fact, harder, as Warp
asserted.

Personally I think that you should stomp that spider :)

Ah, hands. Yes, hard to do. Whenever I've tried to draw hands (which has
been many times now) I always concentrate on the knuckles and finger/thumb
pads, usually making them slightly larger than normal, which seems to work.
The nails are important too.

My drawing instructor made me draw my hand in lots of different ways.
Who would have thought there were so many ways to fail at drawing? I
feel as if I know them all now.
[Now if I could figure out how to *avoid* these things...]
