That's mailing lists, not newsgroups. Some borken readers thread by
subject. But I was meaning in a more esoteric way it's confusing - it's
off-topic, so at least we're consistent in being off-topic in content vs.
subject. It's a kinda "meta" thing. :-)

yep, that's a pretty good setup. I only need Emacs when messing around with
Scheme programming. Emacs is made of and for Lisp code...

Well, yes, and I know we see that from time to time - the banking
industry, for example, or the health care industry. That's why in
situations like that, reproducing the problem on a machine that doesn't
house that data is used instead of the actual machine that's crashing.

Last time I had one, they supported it by releasing new drivers for new
OSes long after they stopped selling the card. I liked that at least.
