But there is one hope for Japanese bees, they didn't talk about. The Japanese
bees (in different to the european ones) have a very nice tactic.
If there is one hornet, spraying its pheromone at their hive and coming inside,
they pretend not to notice the hornet. They let their enemy come inside. Also
when the hornet try to kill some of them, they do nothing. When the single
hornet scout is inside the hive, the bees outside are destroying the wood,
which the hornet has marked until the pheromone doesn't exist anymore. Inside
the hive the bees are shutting the exit, so the hornet can't escape. Then many
bees surround the hornet
and produce a lots of heat with their vibrating bodies. The hornet dies. The
reason: The bees can stand a temperature 2 degrees higher than the hornet. So
they eliminate the scout and are save until the next hornet-scout is coming.
Other bees couldn't stand a chance...
