De nada, this morning the iPod Shuffle that is my brain blipped through
"snow is falling, all around" "Mistletoe and Wine", "do they know it's
Christmas" "O Mio Babbino Caro", and "Sancta Maria" before settling on my
default "Carol of the Bells" oh and another I can't recall the name of and
don't have the pitch to sing correctly unless someone kicked me very hard
in a tender area.

Oh great now I'm back to Sir Cliff bleedin' Richard.

I found it embarrassing and it made me self conscious. When I worked in Jamaica
I noticed that it was common for people of both sexes to keep holding after
shaking hands. (And I am sure that there is a hierarchy to how it is done. Maybe
Sven could comment. I notice that he is posting again. Hi Sven) I got used to it
after a while but it still makes me self conscious thanks to a Calvinistic
upbringing.
Ah! Well. It is the differences that make life interesting.

Depends on the culture, but yes, this is true in many cultures.

There are cultures where men greet other men by kissing them in the
mouth. Only acceptable between men. No kidding.

I'm not surprised. The world is a place of great variety of beliefs and
customs...

You're "smart arsed" comment reminds me that my grandmother used to say. "No one
loves a smart arse and your tongue's so sharp you will cut yourself". :)
