I've tried to install the latest version of Pov-Ray without any success since I
keep getting an error 2203. It keep telling me that it cannot open the
database, and I assume it is the database in the .msi installation file.
I've cleaned the register, searched high and low online and it seems to be a
fairly common problem (with Windows). At Microsoft there's no help to find and
I'm running out of options.
If any of you got a clue what to do about this, I would be forever grateful :)
Would love to try out Pov-Ray at least once.
I do have a log file if it is required.

Is that "the latest version" as in "the latest release" (i.e. POV-Ray
3.6.2), or as in "the latest beta" (i.e. POV-Ray 3.7.0.beta.34)?

It's the latest POV-Ray 3.6.2, 32-bit Windows installation.

You might want to try the 3.6.1c (to be found on
ftp://ftp.povray.org/pub/povray/Old-Versions/Official-3.6/Windows/);
IICR the 3.6.2 was primarily released to support 64-bit systems (might
be mistaken though).
Alternatively, give the 3.7 beta a try.

That link doesn't go anywhere...but thanks for trying :)
I think the problem is that my computer is having a hard time with .msi files. I
can install an .exe, but not .msi for some silly reason.
Thanks for trying though :)
