I finally managed to make a new release of Y.A.P.R.M. Version 0.7.1 is a bug
fix release with many small bug fixes and small enhancements in order to improve
the useability. Furthermore it is a great pleasure for me to announce that

will follow in the next days.
I hope you will enjoy this improvements.

Cheers,
Alil

Hallo Reinhard,

I started to work on this. However up to now i was not success full. The core of
yaprm would not be the issue. The problem comes with some of the used libraries.
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Alois

Hallo Alois,

Which development environment on Windows do you use? Visual Studio,
cygwin or an other? Which used libraries make the problems?

Maybe I can help...

Cheers,
Reinhard

Hello Reinhard,

I did some investigations using mingw. Because I would like to reuse the
autotools build environment. I achieved to compile several libraries. However I
currently do not remember all the details. I can check today in the evening when
I'm home from work. If you could give me some hints I may be able to develop a
first beta version we can both use to improve it. One of the reasons to move to
Gtk was to make a windows version possible more easily.

Thanks,
Alois

Hello Reinhard,

I first have to check what I did. I spent one weekend last December on it and I
thought that it went not to bad. But currently I remember very little on what I
did. I think I had to tinker a lot with the environment. So maybe it is best if
I try to build a binary version first with my setup. If it works with mingw the
next step could be to get it working with visual studio.

Cheers,
Alois

Hallo Reinhard,

I spent now about 3 hours on the stuff I had with mingw. I must say I was pretty
far. Until at a certain point everthing stopped working and I don't know why.
however I learned that I just need to add 2 additinal libraries all other stuff
is coverd by gtkmm or yaprm already. So tomorrow I'll check how far I get with
visual studio express. Any tips tips for me how I should start are warmly
welcome.

Cheers,
Alois

Hi,

After spending some more time with mingw I'm now able to build a kind of running
version. however I could get it running only on my system and there only without
the viewports showing something. if you like i can give you the code and have a
look on it. I think I need some break now (have been on this last night and
nearly the whole day ;-)

Cheers,
Alois
