Severe flashbacks to sitting in the lounge at college in the 80s when MTV had
interesting music videos...
Nice work!

Glad you liked them. And that you could see 'em. They still might be banned
because they use copyright material.
Have fun! (while ya can:)

Thanks! MTV did inspired me. Though in the 80s we couldn't get MTV, didn't have
cable. I think a local channel showed one of MTV shows (top 10 videos or
something) once a week. Is there even a MTV now? Have to look it up.

Nice work!
But I have trouble understanding the "plot".
And it's really weird, isn't it?

They could fall within the legitimate use rule. Yes, the music is
copyrighted, but the visual is all yours.
That make them derivative work.
Then, the music is over 30 years old. Copyright holders tend to be less
stringent for older material.

YouTube has been fighting with the record companies since the first user
posted the first song. They have negotiated arrangements, the details
of which I don't know. I see songs all the time posted with "no
copyright infringement intended" as they are quite blatantly infringing
copyright, yet the videos remain. In the early days of YouTube, the
record company would have taken them down.
If your videos are allowed remain, I am sure of only one thing: In the
event that your channel becomes monetized, all revenues from your videos
will be sent straight to the record company.

That's good to know.

That's fine by me. I don't plan to make money of them. Never did.
