Hi,
A quick question. Is there a way to set the color of the masked data to
something other than black in the output image when Alpha Channel is
enabled?
I use a lot of black in my images, and it gets hard to separate the actual
rendered objects from the rest of the image.
Thanks.

When alpha output is enabled, the background color shouldn't show at all
(except in reflections and refraction). When there's a partially transparent
object, even if your background color is set to bright orange, you should
only see the color of the object (along with its transparency) - no orange.
Make sure you have the latest version of POV-Ray for this behavior (I'm not
sure 3.5 did it this way).
If you're referring to the background color appearing in reflections, just
set it with background{rgb whatever}.

Ah, thanks! But, I found that it was an issue with my image editor.
