We hvae some auto-checking of links with keeping the last known page cached
in place. It also keeps track of how often a server is down.

Submission of links is currently not there...

Yes, a week visiting a friend in Russia. Saw Moscow and St. Petersburg and
was very impressed that most of the pictures in the news only show the
negative part of reality...

Web browsing is mostly based on mouse. I have no scroll mouse and have problem
to get keywords not from begining of list. Simple A B C D E F G ... links to
sections could be enough.

Hmm, so the scrollbar does not appear? I have no problem seeing it in
Netscape 4.7.8 and IE 5.1 for Mac. Maybe some HTML tag is missing in the
page and your browser does not like it. If you let me know which browser
you are using I should be able to track the problem down and fix the page.

Appear, but on so long list precision of positioning is difficoult for tired
hands. I like my hands.

I wonder if it could be possible to add to every position in the links
collection additional anchor with "view history of site in archive.org" like
http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.oyonale.com/

How would that help the POV-Ray user?

When the page is temporary offline, has moved or was changed with some
removing then user would have access to old resources.

I just tried a couple of old model sites that were linked to from one of
my older links collections through that service and while the text info
of the original site display the model downloads did not work nor did many
of the site graphics. So, it might be good for purely informational content
it doesn't appear particularly good for resource content.

Nice trip down memory lane however. I haven't seen some of those sites in over
4 years.
