No confusion, one has a signiture the other doesn't.
Signatures are good like that(as long as they aren't 100 mega bytes).

I havn't a CLUE why, but my posting appeared in the "off-topic" newsgroup,
which I was in to test if I could make my name "David McCabe". I've never
been in that gruop before, nor was I there when I posted the message. It's
the oddest thing that's happened this week. Anyway, here's what it said:

I don't know exactly how to do that, or when I chose "David" as a posting
name, but I'll look into that. What does "AFAICS" mean, IAISNSPEMSQAICL?

That would be the Followup-To: header. Your newsreader will automatically
honor it if you don't override that behavior.

My posts would have one too, but I no longer subscribe to that group so I
wouldn't see the replies.

I was just making fun of those very long chat acronyms. BRB or HAY are fine,
but sometimes they are just to long, IMHO.
Anyway, IAISNSPEMSQAICL - which I just made up - stands for "I'm an internet
semi-newby so please excuse my stupid question about internet chat language"

Thank you. I had figured the other ones, but that long one threw me for a loop!
