Both pages are 650 kb. I'm sorry for the size but smaller ones and higher
compression don't do justice to the image.
Another panorama image is a view of the International Space Station. I found
a very nice POV-Ray model of it and thought I'd give it a try. I added it to
the "Reach for the stars" museum section.

panorama versions (around 200 kb each).
I've only tested this with IE6 under XP so if you have problems with other
browsers and OS let me know.

Hi.Family Day is fantastic and works fine on Win 98 SE (QT version). Do you
have time to explain with some detail how you created these, from the POV
scene to the final viewing stage? That would be a huge help...

How did you get the car up to the ISS? And why the trouble
of sending it up there?
But nice to see Family in 360, though there's really
only one thing to focus on. Its like with Radiosity: You've
got to design some images keeping some things in
mind (like radiosity, 360 degree view, mirrors etc)

Fantastic work, I'm really impressed (and also very interested in a deeper
explanation of the process if it's possible, as Dennis said).
Worked fine with W98SE, IE 5.5, java version.

Safari 1.0 under Mac OS X 10.2.6
quicktime version - no problems
java - browser crashed immediately [I'd place the blame on the
browser :-)]
Mozilla 1.2.1:
Java loaded OK, but needed a click to go beyond the 100% complete
message. Much slower than the QT version [which is to be expected,
I guess]
Trying to load both the QT & Java in Mozilla gave me an apparent
lock-up, but the QT looked to be loading just fine.

Thanks for testing! This basically confirms what I thought from previous
experiences with Java, which is that while the applet version may be more
cross platform, allowing people without QT to see the image, it is also more
prone to problems... I guess I'll have to continue with both versions then.
