You can e-mail the renderings to jpr### [at] citywalkcoza with "Att: Gerhard" in
the subject line. Or you could post it to p.b.i....

Thanks,

Nekar Xenos aka Gerhard Oosthuizen

I must say, your real name isn't any less weird than your pseudonym...

It's actually a very common name here in South Africa. Apparently it's of German
origin.

BTW you can check the meaning of my pseudonym in the (Biblical) Hebrew and Greek
if you want (if you have access to the lexicons that is..)

I haven't checked out your car construction methods but the very low
hit-rates on boxes, spheres & superellipsoids suggests that the
internal bounding can be much tighter with serious reduction of render
time as a result. The license plates seems to be very expensive as
well.

Experimenting with switching objects off leads to the conclusion that
your wheels are bounded poorly as the rest of the objects render
faster than the wheels alone!

OK, how do I stop the mosaic preview? I tried adding +SP1 to the command
line, but it didn't help. Thanks

I'm sorry I forgot to give the command line: +qr
And you can render at 600 x 800 AA 0.3

Don't worry about the mosaic - radiosity does that.

Thanks,

- Nekar

Didn't pay a cent fot those numberplates. ;)

This is one area I'm not very clear on. How should I do the bounding? I guess
the treads are what's making it so slow..?

ok, I won't worry about the mosaic, and i'm hoping that you want 600x800,
not the standard 800x600
