Yes, but you'll have to be patient. (http://www.pandora-software.com)

Just ran it for a few hours. My first impression is that it's very promising as
a modeller. It certainly reminds me of the beta version of Rhino I used some
years ago. Seems intuitive enough and not cluttered (yet ?) with one zillion
mysterious icons. I could import and modify large meshes (from Poser) and could
complete one of the tutorials without getting lost.
Could be a good free mesh modeller for POV (it exports to 3DS so that its models
are convertible). There are things that doesn't work, others that seels to be
missing and it crashes a little too often to be really usable, but once it has
matured a little bit, who knows ?

Actually I love the interface of Rhino3d... only if it was freeware.

Can pandora-modeller have all the flexibility that Rhino3D offers... then
that'll make it an ideal companion to POV!

Yes, if someone writes the modules ! ;-)

Basically I'm designing Pandora's Box to be extendable and customizable
through the use of plug-in modules - so, quite simply, if there's a feature
that people want and someone's willing to write the module, it'll be able to
do it!
