There are quite a few I know, many people from around these parts, but then
that isn't my real question.
Everyone notice the change which has taken place? It's now a Yahoo! Webring
or sub-webring, whatever it might be called.

I don't check the email address I used when joining much these days and only
now realized about the change. Seems the list remains as is except there
could be some new html to insert into your web pages. I'm not too clear on
that yet.

I just made the code change myself. I would like to see if the colors can be
altered. But the ringmaster has to do that, I think. the code itself is a
simple javascript, which is good. But I think it looks very plain. Lucky for
me its at the bottom of the page just past the veiw of the screen
(at1024x768).
Maybe if enough of us get together and complain, we can have a little
control over the color of the "Nav Bar", so it will look good on the
different sites(backgrounds).

There's a discussion about the webring happening on the irtc-l mailing list.
The ringmaster is upset about the acquisition by Yahoo!!!! and doesn't want to
get a Yahoo ID just to resign from the ring, which, apparently, they want him to
do. There has been some discussion about some people coding up some stuff and
hosting a POV ring at povray.org. Someone also mentioned that
http://www.bravenet.com also has a free ring thingy, so that is an option.
