Amongst the various rules and requirements of the project, the
following phrase surprised me :

"Please do not submit images whose copyrights have been assigned to
someone else, such as previous IRTC entries."

By submitting images to the IRTC, I do NOT assing them my copy-rights.
I still fully got the copy-right over my images, and I can
authorize anyone to use them. IRTC just have the right to publish
my submitted images in some ways that are well defined in their
rules (IRTC Website, CD's,..).

Or maybe did I misunderstood the phrase ?

Fabien.

I put that phrase there not because of a legal liability but as a matter of
taste and friendliness to the possible purchaser of both an IRTC and a 10
Best CD.

Oh, well, okay, that's something I can understand ! Maybe you could
re-word it that way ?

That said, the IRTC has almost been my only POV-activity for 2-3 years,
and it seems I've got to find a way to produce some good images
for that "10 best" stuff...

Maybe different versions of the IRTC entries ? Don't know..
(fixing faults, changing things,...)

Of course, I have some non-IRTC stuff, but it compares badly
to my IRTC entries..

Fabien.

Maybe there should be the possibility to provide references to existing IRTC
entries. That would avoid the duplication but offers the possibility to include
those pictures in the "10 best" collection.

OK, like how?

I wasn't thinking of having a bio page, but it's not out of the question......

I just thought the CD could maybe contain references (in the form of links to
the irtc-website of mentioning the irtc-cdrom) in addition to the pictures.
They could be submitted and categorized using a form like the provisonal one on
your page just like the pictures actually being on the CD.
