POV-Ray Logo Competition - Voting
Anybody using POV-Ray may vote.
I hope as many as possible will!
o The Logos
You can view the logos from here:
http://rsj.mobilixnet.dk/povlogos/
o The Rules
You make a reply to this message in which
you specify your priorities.
At the 1st priority you write the number
of your favorite logo. At the 2nd priority
you write the number of your second
favorite, and so on...
You may specify all 15 priorities, or you
may specify some of them only, but at
least one.
If you specify some of the priorities
only, the fields that you specify must be
the uppermost ones, and the fields that
you leave blank must be the lowermost ones.
You may specify one logo per priority only.
Note that although some of the logos are
quite similar, you should vote for both
versions if you like both versions. Nothing
is taken for granted.
If something is unclear, please tell me.

The choices are good but I have a major problem with them in that they are best
as a stylization of a logo yet I can't pick out the ones I think are real good
as also being real good for a POV-Ray logo. Sorry, hope you all understand my
meaning here.
Well, let me explain anyway. The reflective sphere over checkered plane still
almost seems the choice although it's the thing probably least wanted so that
there is a change. Then the more artistic ones are lacking in suitable
connection with the workings of POV in my opinion. The in-between kind make the
most sense based on that idea and still they don't quite fit what I could
truthfully say would make a good logo.
Either all that or I'm just befuddled or whatever... :-)
Please take no offense at my viewpoint anyone.

I forgot to mention that although you can
freely decide how many priorities you want
to specify, I encourage everybody to specify
as many priorities as possible. That is more
likely to give results that more people are
satisfied with.
By specifying only a few priorities, you say
that if no of your few favorite logos win,
then you don't care which of the remaining
logos that win.
In other words, if you want more influence,
specify more priorities.
