I'll do my best but ...
first I have to rewrite some parts because of the lousy style I had used
that the g++ compiled without complaints while other did not.
Second I'll have to bring the borland commandline compiler for WIN32 to
compile the fltk library and then the program itself.
And to complicate things I'll have to apply for a new job which is
eating up most of my free time at the moment :-(.
Any good paying POYRAY jobs out there? <g>

If somebody would help me compiling the fltk library and the program for
WIN32 (VISUAL C++ would be useful...there are existing project files for
fltk) things could be speed up. The rewriting would just take a fews
hours. Any volunteers <g>.

I will just have to learn to live without it... sniff....

Have you considered compiling it with cygwin? It might just work without
a rewrite. If you want to email me the source, I can try to build it and
let you know how it goes.

I don't know that much about programming, but you may want to try DJGPP.
It's a 32-bit DOS port of the GNU compiler for Linux, but AFAIK you can make
Windows programs with it too, so you may not have to rewrite anything.

I would have posted this in povray.off-topic but...
PS when I try to resubscribe to povray.off-topic (there are some bugs on the uni
computer network & it dissapeared off my subscription list) netscape 4.7 has a
fit and dies
-Application exception occurred:
        App: netscape.exe (pid=135)
        When: 4/5/2000 @ 17:35:19.419
        Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)

  Oh, please! Not again!

Repeat after me: UNIX, UNIX, UNIX, UNIX, UNIX...

  Repeat this mantra 100 times.

gcc is a compiler compiler for almost all UNIX operating systems.
It is NOT a compiler exclusive to Linux.

Please, don't use the word "Linux" where you should use the word "Unix".
Thank you.

You're falling into the same trap, you know.

gcc is a compiler for almost all operating systems, not just the unix
and unix-like ones.

If anything, I'm guilty of the opposite. I don't actually use a
formally branded Unix at home (work is a different story). One of these
days I'll get around to picking up a current version of FreeBSD.
