It takes more fine motor skill to use the knife than the fork, so if you
hold with the fork with the left and cut with the knife with the right
and don't switch hands to eat you'd be usin' left so who cares anyway :-)

Coordinate system has nothing to do with physical handedness of the user. And
everyone types with both hands AFAIK.

Of course with all the percentages and ambidexterities this is not very

But I do have difficulties distinguishing left from right.
When I was getting my drivers license I got the right direction about
50% of the time. Which is not very good, considering the choices.
