Hi,
	I just got done talking to a man that might
need a graphic for a presentation he is doing. He 
owns a Mac but doesn't know what file format would be
best for me to send him the picture. What is the most
common file format for the Mac that he should be able to
open? I have Paintshop Pro 6 so I should be able to
match what ever it is.

PICT is the "standard" Macintosh file format, and can be used by nearly 
every Mac graphics program(and many programs that have no obvious 
graphics capability). If he has a recent version of QuickTime(or a 
recent browser), he should be able to view PNG. JPEG or GIF would also 
work. He might have the capacity to handle TIFF or TGA files.

If he has GraphicConverter(a conversion/image editing program which does 
far more than just converting), he can handle just about anything. 
GraphicConverter also has the capability to do slide shows, so he might 
be able to use it for his presentation.

Thanks, Chris. I am not sure that this man would know if he
has a recent version of whatever program you mention. He has been
busy building a service related business with little time for
doing computer related stuff.
