I've updated the POV-Ray Include Files Page with a new version of the
Triangle Mapping macro file. This allows you to create per-vertex coloured
triangles (for scientific renderings, etc.) or UV-mapped triangles without
the need for a patched version of POV-Ray. The new version uses less than
half the memory of the previous Tri-Colour macro/include files, and all the
supported triangle types can be used directly in a mesh {} wrapper for more
even efficient usage.
There's also a new, smaller version of Warp's Mesh Compressor for Windows, a
progress report on the POV-Ray Spline System (which, as always, shouldn't be
too far away now...!), and an animation of some cloud techniques I'm working
on:

Thanks for the news. I've been especially interested in the Spline
Generator for 3.1 progress.

With luck I'll have a Poser4 .OBJ to Tri-Colour converter available
"soon" (don't want to give a date because time suddenly ran away from
me this week).
