Well, just as a side tangent here (since everyone has been doing so in the
post mentioned), I didn't read the original post, just some of the last few.
My observation: How pathetic.
Come on people, stop fighting and start coding, do something productive with
your time (make use of the time you have, you never know how much you have
left). I for one would much rather see a rendered image than some people
flaming each other.
OK, I've already wasted enough time and space. There's no need to reply
unless you feel you need to object to something I've said, and even then,
email it, don't pile these groups with it if it's not on topic.
Thanks.

If you feel you must retaliate to my comments, do so in a civilised manner.
I do not tolerate abuse such as spamming.
Again, thank you for your consideration.

I'd like to add something to this OT thread...
Well, it has to come, sooner or later. I once participated in teamwork
seminar where I learned, that every group has 4 phases of life:
1. Initial phase. Everyone in group is new, they are trying to
acommodate and learn each other. (i.e. Creation of this server for
newsgroups ca. 2 years ago)
2. "Arise of authorities" phase. In this phase people are familiar with
each other and some more active people will start to dominate and take
leadership. (In this server to name a few: .... (everyone can fill this
by itself))
3. Conflict phase. This is avoidable unfortunately, question is, how
serious it will be and how long it will last. Seems, like this community
here is entered to this phase. In this phase some of people will try to
change formed hierarchy, other are gathered enough familiarity with each
other and will not be as "politically correct" as in first phases, when
there is something to say.
4. Phase of productivity. Everyone is settled down and group will
concentrate to its objectivity. Hopefully this phase will come and
rather soon.
Well, it has been long time since I learned it (5-6 years) and typed
with my bad english, so please forgive, if there is something wrong.
Additionally, if someone feels somehow offended by this posting, then I
apologise sincerely.
P.S. Perhaps this theory is just plain wrong and postings are carried
with "end-of-world", "solar eclipse" or "millenium hysteria" feelings
;-)

Wow, I hope it's not millennium hysteria. I'd hate for it to last another
sixteen months. (Grin, Duck, and Run)

You are right, of course, and I apologize for this off-topic flame war.

It really doesn't matter if the millenium changes at 1/1/2000 or 1/1/2001.
The important thing is that all the funny things will happen in
1/1/2000...

I you were sorry you wouldn't have done it. Tnat is what my grandma
always told me and I think it applies here too.

Perhaps I wasn't sorry at the beginning, but I'm sorry now.
