Sorry for this OT message.
I am about to change internet provider so I'll have to change my e-mail
address.
I would like to only have to do that once no matter if I change provider
many times in the future.
Can you suggest a good, reliable e-mail redirect service which I can have
forever for free? Preferable commercial free and definitely not web-based
(but since they are only redirectors aren't they always that? Not web-based
and commercial free I mean. I really don't know much about it).
Again sorry for the completely OT message. (Where is the right place to post
such questions?)

in the irtc.animation about signatures in animation. You had posted
some code there that I have been playing around with.
Because it is mostly your work, I thought I would hand back the macro
that I made of it.

That is a really cool image. I'd almost call it art. If this were a binaries
group I'd post it as a GIF so other people could enjoy it.

I mainly use it for testing inwards & outwards mail from our network (by
day I'm a mail/network admin amongst other things).
The only downside is the occasional commercial from iname themselves
encouraging you to upgrade to a payment based service...

Well, I've been on Geocities for quite some time. May not be the greatest thing
or such, but they do have free SMTP, POP and redirect. And they are probably
going to be around for a while. So far, no annoying tag-lines added, no
spamming allowed, and they haven't even gotten a Web interface out of beta.
Of course, I also keep a Hotmail account just for use in registering software
for downloads, etc. ;-)

This is nice, but am I correct in reading this as a general offer for public
use? If so, I bet we start seeing a lot more signed images 8-)

Well, Mr. Johnson had posted it for all to read. I just made it into a macro.
When I saw that his mail address was going to change I though that this was the
best way to let him get a copy.
And it is a good idea for artists to sign their work, even if they did it with
a paint program. This macro should help any who don't want to use post
processing.
