What's the best way to model sails on a ship? IE a 2D shape curved into
a 3rd dimension. I want to start coding the Black Seas Barracuda. Also,
is there a way to get a texture or image_map curved around with the
sail?

	You want to look into sPatch and uvpov I think... sPatch is a great
modelling tool for patches and uvpov (or the superpatch) includes a
technique called uv-mapping that allows to curve the texture around the
object in the way I believe you want...

Or CC's TriMap macro allows you to do UV-mapping (for meshes anyway)
in standard, official POV. I kid ye not.
