Nah, it'd be spelled right. :)

Stupid spanish... aargh! It really messed me up. I'm having serious trouble
getting ready for my SAT because of it. I don't know any of the terminology
in english. I just learned what a _mean_ is in mathematics. I feel stupid,
and I know I'm not.

POV-Ray: Millennium Edition (or POV-Ray 2001, a trace odyssey)

PS: Sorry, I couldn't help myself. =)

Or POV-Ray 2001 ;-)

I had the same problem when I applied to US universities (all required the
SAT). You want to apply to a US university, too?
Knowing math well didn't help, especially with the lots of different terms.
I also had problems with the different types of triangles - it is really
_hard_ to answer if you simply don't understand the question :-( But don't
worry, if the first time doesn't work out that well, take it again :-)

<snip...>

Quite interesting!
I always thought "millennium" to be Latin
and Spanish to be closer to this language than English!

Although spanish has a closer relationship to latin, it was greatly
influenced by the arabs. Words like alcohol, zanahoria, almohada, and many
more come from arabic roots. Another thing to consider is the fact that most
latin-based words in english, like millennium, Pegasus, equilibrium, and all
that suffer a transformation in spanish. The previous examples become:
milenio, Pegaso, and equilibrio. Do you notice what happens to -us and -um?
I hope that explains things for you. =)

Yes, Florida State University. My father has a pre-paid program with them.

I know what you mean. I (literally) cried when I finished the practice test.
I performed horribly. I'm quite worried.

Yes, that has been proposed as an option. Another option is to pay $300
(!!!) for a course that prepares you for the test. My dad seems willing to
pay. I don't want him to have to do that, so I'm going to read the
dictionary from top to bottom to make sure I know all the terms I'll need.
(I've actually started, I'm almost done with 'A'). The test will be given on
December 4th, so please pray for me to come out well. Thanks in advance.
