Sheesh. I was hoping to go to that, but things intervened. I had enough points
with my United Airlines frequent flyer program to go for free, too. [Worse than
that, they expire this year :(. Sigh.]

Nay, don't tempt me!
I think I'll hold out at least until Q2 2000 before upgrading from my trusty
TNT. By that time HTL, bump mapping and (hopefully) texture compression should
be standard features... And if the current trend continues, we'll have more
video memory than system memory.

Heh. Nice.

I personally love my Riva TNT. 16 meg video card, supports standard OpenGL.
It's a sweet card. I can play at 1024x768 and about 45 FPS.

Can I make a recommendation for Quake2 variants? I personally love Weapons
Factory.
It's a Quake2 version of Team Fortress, but on steroids. =P
www.captured.com/weaponsfactory

This game is truly insane. It's capture the flag, with a class system. there
are 10 classes, each with their own set of weapons and special abilities.

If you want to play Capture-The-Flag, this is how to go. =D

I tried to login to these tonight (Saturday, July 3, 11:12 pm (GMT - 7))
... but no go... is the server running?
