All,
I'm sorry I couldn't contain my excitement, I just has to tell someone.
My dad came home with a copy of 3DS Max r.2. He found it at work, what
statisticians are do with it I don't know. But if they don't want it,
I'll defiantly have it. It's not a hacked version either, it's got one
of those things to plug in to the parrallel port.
Graham.
P.S. Woo-Hoo.

Yes, a hardware lock or dongle, whatever you want to call it... :-)
Congratulations :)
Have fun with the PSs and SWs :) OOoo and check out the Dynamics systems...
I'm sure you'll find them fun :) (Utilities tab on the left panel,
Dynamics)

Well well well..
I've been with theese hardware locks on autoCad when i had a course in it...
pretty interesting things. they tended to fail exactly during out exams...
*laughs*
Well, what happens then is that the teacher removes it, inserts "the magic disc"
runs the patch and... whee, it works.. *laughs*
I don't belive in hardware blocks... *hehe*

he he he, yeah... I've had mine fail once, that was when I was printing and
running MAX at the same time (obviously not a good idea LOL!!!)...
Oh well, if there was no one pirating I guess there wouldn't be a need for
them... *sad expression*
But anyway, HAPPY MAXING!!! ;-) he he he

I always enjoy threads about 3D Studio and it's price and
all...
Sitting here with 'a blatant gloat' because I got a copy of
the program (r 2.5) for free while working on a educational
project with my former physics teacher...
And the best part of it all is: I DON'T USE IT!
I hate working with it and stick to POV for all my 3D stuff.
