FOP - collective image, organisation (Message 1 to 7 of 7)

I'll try to begin the organisation of the collective image I was
speaking about.

About the general idea, I'd like to retain the one about the pov-team
moving to the internet, which could be figured by some kind of
pov-team-ship, or pov-team-submarine, or whatever, travelling trough a
space occupied by numerous objects and things created in Pov.
Please bring ideas about that, make comments, try to enhance the
concept.

At first, I'd like each participant to give me (publicly !) a list of
all the good objects/models she/he made the last 12 months, or so. This
way, I could get an idea of the capharnaum we've created since a year,
and try to see how it could be combined into one image...

Some objects will be modified, finished, corrected, according to the
needs
of the entire image. BTW, I think the image could be rather big, maybe
something like 1280*1024... After all, it's a welcome gift to the team,
it must be anything but shy...

Waiting for your lists, (and doing mine, too)
Fabien.

Hi Fabien

I'm the specialist of domes (they can make very good lampshade (even with
the little rim), or baskets), I also have modelled 2 towers (The water tower
and the Saviour temple main tower (both in Moscow)), and some strange
artifacts without name or utility.

Please tell me the official name won't be the FOP. POVFest sounds much
nicer, albeit longer. (=

If you go to my page, you find a small gallery of objects I have made:

I say POVFest. As for the collective image, I suggest POVCODE = POV
Collective Organisation DEsgin.
That's all. As for my objects, well, most of what I did was related to
trees, photons and macros as I was exploring the massive opportunities
of using pov. Maybe I'll make something more specific till then.

OK, let's see what I've got on the good side:

humpback whale (sPatch)
diver (sPatch)
Fokker Dr I (sPatch needs some work on the front, backview is OK)
galley (guess what .. sPatch)

For a look at them:

That's it
