I just had a funny idea: how about a povray.sites group? People could
post messages about their POV related web sites with short descriptions.
This would be the ultimate source for POV resources.

Wouldn't this be redundant with the links section of Ken "el bestia"'s web
page?

It would be redundant since the Pov team already has this available
to any Pov-Ray user who so wishes at the home page of Pov-Ray.
http://www.povray.org/gallery/index.html
Could it be that nobody has seen this long and comprehensive list of
users offering a look into their world ? I did not think so since eveyone
takes the time to responsibly search through the site and knows by heart
the contents and what is available there.

I agree with TonyB, maybe in future releases of POV, the
installation program can put
http://home.pacbell.net/tylereng/index.html
into everybody's bookmarks.
Cheers

I know of it, and looked through it before, can't recall if I submitted
mine there or not. Time to go see if I did I guess, and maybe ask to be
included if I haven't.
The prospect of a newsgroup here about pov web sites is a valid
suggestion I believe. This is high traffic and any other places are
going to always be visits on a search or browse basis only. Might be
benifitial.

I think a news group is still a good idea, because I visit
news.povray.org every day, and I don't visit the web (for pov stuff,
that is!) as often. Besides, it would be much easier to submit and talk
about, suggest, and comment on, websites on the news server.
