Are any people here are interested in motion blurring and Pov-Ray? I
just posted a Pov-Ray text scene-file on p.t.s-i. This file takes any
pre-rendered animation and creates a motion blurred animation of any
length. More information (usage and animation example) is available for
download at www.irtc.org in the animation viewing area - look at
Tatooine: POD RACE. This file can also be used to blur a single
picture.
Comments? Suggestions?

I wanted to say to you that that is one of the most stunning pov animations
I've ever seen. I believe in you for now. Later, it will be some other
person's turn. I think you might be a little bit of the topic but you have
to win one of the prizes. =)
I'll go check out your blurring...

I like it!
I think it might be a loose interpretation of gagets, but it's cool
anyhow.
The only suggestion I would make would be, if you ever decide to
add to this, try cutting in a different camera perspective. Like for
instance,
an over head long-shot from a camera that isn't moving or maybe a shot
from a pods perspective looking forward.
I know you have to keep it short for the competition though.
Other than that it was great!

--
...coffee?...yes please! extra sugar,extra cream...Thank you.

Sure a comment. You should have taken several more days rendertime :-)
That is: The motion looks great, but a few times your ships just
disintegrate, there are really three visible, oops, that should be nine.
But apart from that, really cool. I love it.

Yall, let's try to minimize the comments we make about IRTC entries until
after the judging is finalized. I happened to like THIS entry, but who knows,
your comment may have thrown into a tizzy someone who doesn't like your
artistic style or didn't like this entry to rate it lower or whatever.
We can and should be professional about our IRTC judging, but we are human.
Hearing the comment "I LOVE this image" about an image I don't like, or
hearing "I HATE this image" about an image I love makes the judging process
all the more difficult; I have to make extra effort to weed out inappropriate
thoughts.
