I am looking for a compiled list of the famous "you know you've been
raytracing too long if..." thread. I know it's out there somewhere,
after all, we've all seen twysted.net :) Also, there was a thread
about doing silly mistakes (like +ilongwait.pov +olongwait/pov), if
anyone has this one I'll be glad to have it. Please send any stuff by
e-mail, the povray.org server already has its copy :)

Thanks, I know this one (I've registered for The Zone, remember?) I
need to know the author of each quote, though. I'll be writing a small
prog that will output a random quote of the day and then call
command.com, and this program will be the DOS shell , so that after
every command you type in DOS you'll get a quote... I've already
edited system.ini and now it says
"shell=c:\progra~1\povray~1.1\bin\suppatch.exe" , now I only have to
pov-ise the DOS shell :)

That's what I need to do now.  I've already hacked io.sys to run
Win95 on a Win98 machine.  This is the same machine that has two
different versions of NT 4 (SP3 debug and SP4 retail) and one 
version of Windows 2000 on it, so it's about time to add another 
item to the boot menu.  POV would be perfect...  Maybe we can 
add it to the Linux Kernel.

"Please wait.... loading POVOS.  Please select an image to render."

In windows...
"What do you want to POV today?"
Then a blue screen.... "Press any key to continue, any other key to crash."
Finalise it all with a action : on keypress : if os.manufacturer=MS then os.crash.

or something :-)
