Well, if you are reading this even after the title, you deserve this.

Now, if you are reading this after my last line, here goes.
I've seen several "You know you've been raytracing too long..." lines
dealing with wondering what hardware/engine God uses to raytrace.
Walking back from a crew party this evening (crew as in rowing not as in
"my crew") I was thinking. The real question should be "What MODELLER
is God using" because the truth of the matter is that God is only
defining objects and textures, we carry the renderer around in our
head. Now, I know some of you are going to insist that God uses
straight source and you may be right. I don't know, but if he does hand
code everthing, you can bet the farm he indents.

Steve
(I warned you didn't I?)

...from far above a load but clear voice rings out in the night and say's

" Stephen I would speak with you. I do not need silly tricks
like indenting to keep my house in order. With my infinite wisdom
and massive intellect indenting would be a waste of divine energy.
Indenting was created for my mentally deficient humans. A day will
come when I will show them the true way to divine coding but you
are not yet ready. Have patience, this evil indenting nonsense
shall someday pass, and humanity shall revel in the glory of my
code. I have spoken."

...and the voice fades as quickly into the night as it had come.

Perhaps that wasn't the voice of God after all? Perhaps Ken has been
talking to someone else?

Indenting? You use more than one line?

Did anyone recommend a good psychiatrist yet? I can't refer Stephen to
any because the only ones I know are either made of blobs or want me to
visit more often.

Can't say I have. But I know god will need one right now. Look at the
mess he has created. All because he can't indent his code, he lost
himself there somewhere.

Ohm It's stephen you thought of. Silly me.

Funny ! Makes me think : there's a French writer (now dead),
George Perec, who used to wrote an entire book (300+ pages)
WITHOUT the "e" letter. Very nice book, indeed.

Fabien.
