I'm sad to announce that on a visit today to twysted.net I found
a message stating that he pulling the plug, getting out of buisness,
cutting us off, bailing out, quitting, giving up, copping out, got
lazy, doesn't care, it's history, no more, shut down, inoperative,
gone bye bye, going the way of the romans, a page in history,
and on top of that is not going to host his web page anymore.
This makes me sad.
Boo Hoo !!!

Whoa! hold on to them there horses, guys! Did you actually read the full
message? The reason I'm shutting down Twysted Mynd is so that I can put more
time into working on www.povray.org. Chris Cason had asked me about helping
with the site.. and with all the stuff that we want to do on povray.org, it
would be a duplication of effort on my part. Do the math:
Hours in the day / (twysted.net + povray.org + other websites + work ) =
nervous breakdown.
Note: sleep is optional in the above equation.
=)
I'm trying to get started in the webdesign business, you see.. so I need all
the time I can spare to hone my "leet skillz"

Oh sure I read the whole message. The first part really got my attention.
Anyway since you had not made a public announcement yet I saved you
the trouble. People now know to delete the twysted.net bookmark from
their system and that resource is one they better use quick before it's gone
for ever. I too appreciate that you will be donating time to the Pov-Ray
community in the form of the work you will do on the Pov home page.
I wish you luck in the future in what ever and where ever your endevours
may take you.

In IRC chat with Twyst last night, I asked specifically about the fate of
PatchStation. What will happen hasn't been entirely determined, but he and
I agree that it probably wouldn't fit in on www.povray.org. Many of the
patches will live on on their original pages, but I know of at least two,
maybe three patches (including the Superpatch) that are only available there.
Don't worry: there are enough people who think PatchStation is a useful
resource to keep it going in some form after the demise of its current
incarnation.

I meant "who is going to do at some new site what Twyst will
not do any longer at twysted.net"? 'what' = collecting all
those goodies.
