witch would be about vr. 15 october noon in Amsterdam ?

(sadly, i was not able to get my image anywhere near usable in time,
but my 13 year old brother finish his image in time. Don't wory, my

I actually had that same question. There could be a difference of
interpretation in that regard.

12:00am October 15th would be 24 hours before what I would consider midnight
October 15th. I don't make the rules, but I can assume that they would have
a lot of really angry people if they interpreted it the same way that a
person would interpret 12:00am October 15th.

Plus, I asked a few people (not related to this competition), and they all
seemed to think that midnight October 15 occurred at the end of the day of
October 15th.

Hi,

Is the server time posted on this website the standard time that the
competition will go by?

Thanks,
Johnny

I don't think so. Server Time is in GMT, and the competition is supposed to
follow 'local time', which I assume to be Australian.

This page

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

could be of help. I suppose we have roughly 20 hours to go.

Well, I got mine done and submitted yesterday morning. I wish they'd had a
countdown clock so it would be easy to see exactly how much time was left.
That would be a good addition to the competition next time.

indeed. the irtc does this pretty well. perhaps a faq page would be good
too.

The ISO-8601 standard could have been used to avoid confusion.

The word "midnight" is not ambiguous at all. It is well defined in every
English dictionary.

Personally I am really disappointed that a few people here try to infer bad
intentions by default and challenge even the most basic and common terms of
every day life. IMHO this is not only inappropriate but also uncalled for.
