Hello all...

I was at Dom's home web site and he mentioned that

LParser. I have downloaded LParser a couple times
now, and I am having trouble getting it to help me
accomplish what I desire. One thing that would help
is having a Windows front end. Anyone know where
one could be found?

Also, any sites useful in creating trees and similar plants
using LParser? I have seen 1 or two tutorials but could
use some more help if anyone could lend a hand (or, if
you wanted to let me know how you might have created
something yourself in LParser...:).

TIA.

Thanks!
Todd

You might check:
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Campus/1519/download.htm

There is also a quite good introduction on:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~cvdmark/tutor.html

Furthermore you might try to check some Fractint related sources, because
Fractint has a L-System function too.

Hi Todd!

There is a windows frontend for L-parser called "lsys32.exe". It doesn't
keep you from typing in formulas but it makes life much easier.
I don't know where its from because it has no info button or such. You
can search the web for it. If you can't find it, just let me know.

Karl

Christoph and Karl...

Thanks for the info you posted. It's got me started in the
right direction and I downloaded the lsys32.exe you
mentioned, Karl. I've taken a look at the tutorial you
mentioned, Christoph, a few times. I'll let you guys
know when I come up with something worth mention,
if I am able. :)

Thanks!
Todd

Hi All, Does anyone have a link to the LParser program: Lsys32.exe? I used it
years ago and it was really great--but now, I can not seem to find it on the
web. Thanks for any help. Val

You might be better asking in povray.general. This thread is very old.
