As the program stands, with minor enhancements, Blobmaster does what I,
the author, need it to do. Due to a lack of response, which , to me, means
a lack of interest, development of Blobmaster is in hiatus until further
notice, i.e.. until I need more from the program. If you need more from the
program PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I appreciate the responses I have received, they
just haven't been enough to convince me that enough people want Blobmaster
enough to make it worth my while to continue serious development. Time is
definitely a concern as my time is becoming more and more constrained by
work and family concerns. But if enough of you care enough I'll lose sleep
to make Blobmaster the best possible program it can be. As I write there is
a Windows 98 version in pre-alpha and the beginnings of a Moray plugin . So
if anybody is using Blobmaster and would like to see more please let me know
. Thank-you.

Rodney

I'd love to have a Win 98 and/or a Moray plug-in version of blobmaster.

To be honest, I've tried the current version a few weeks ago and did not
find Blobmaster very easy to use so I decided to wait for further
development.
A soon as you pre-release an alpha of the Win98 version, I'll be very glad
to test it and will make a comprehensive (?) report for you.

Hi, Rodney. For those of us who have missed earlier posts what's the .url
where we can find Blobmaster?

You think Ken's link's collection would omit that one Alan ? Look in
povray.announce.frequently-asked-questions or below for the important link.

How are you doing? Are you still using my interface? If you like, I could make
another, improved version, and you could build the program around it, since it
is harder for me to make things that fit in a specific place you have
predetermined. I would love to see a Windows version. I don't really use it,
sadly, because to be honest, modellers annoy me, yours is good, but I just don't
feel like using them, I'm too used to text... =)

I agree with what Phil said. I'm mostly interested in the Moray plugin
since that would be the most useful for me. I did use it a bit, but since
then I haven't had any need for making blobs, so I haven't used it.

Thanks for the response guys. So apparently a Windows 98 version and a Moray
plugin are areas of interest. Any more input? Anyone? Anyway I think the DOS
version is pretty much done (mostly because I finally have a machine that will
actually run Windows 95/98). If anyone else would like to see a Windows version
and/or a Moray plugin for Blobmaster please let me know!

Thanks, Rodney

The DOS + dpmi version of Blobmaster is available at:
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Ridge/6532/bmaster.htm
(There, I finally remembered to include the URL. Thanks to Ken Tyler for his
assistance on all my other posts.)

Hi, Rodney. I'd like to see a Blobmaster plug-in for Moray as my personal
first choice with a Windows 98 version as a usable alternative. Thanks for
asking.

I have not had yet the opportunity to use Blobmaster, but:
Yes, definitely, a Moray plugin would be very useful, and perhaps a Windows95/98?
but in that order, please!
