I accidentally posted this in text.tutorials (Doh!) here it is in the
correct place in case anyone wants it that didn't find it there.

This program reads a series of 24bit uncompressed TGAs and makes a df3
file. Note it doesn't do any checking at the moment but if you use POV
to make the TGAs then they will be legal ;)
The EXE is Win32 console but the source is there, it should work in DOS,
not sure about other OSs.

Cheers, PoD.

Yeah! Cool! Awesome!

...ahh...what's a df3 file? I really would like to know. It sounds like an
animation format of some sort...and if it'll give me better looking anims,
here here. Even if it's not an anim program, tell me what it is. :D

A density file, which has the extension .DF3 is like a 3D grey scale
image file.
POV 3.1 beta can use 3D patterns to control the density of media (what
was halo in 3.0) or with a colour map you can use it to create your own
3D pigments etc.

Hmm. I don't seem to be doing a good job of explaining it. If you have
3.1, read the docs on density files, if you don't have 3.1 then you
don't want this utility.
