- Sunset by Abe Madey
- Pawn object by Douglas Otwell
- Cracked sphere inspire by Richard Dault

Added a normal/bump instead of a mirrrored reflection for the black and white
rounded cubes.

Took blooming ages to render (media/density), might have overdone the cracked
sphere.

Very cool! Is that HDR lighting for the sunset or did you model some other way?

I like it.

Maybe my tired eyes or that this room is too bright at the moment, but I
think I see a brighter rounded circular region to the left of the pawn?

If it's really there, is it something intentional?

Woah the colors on this are really fantastic! The cloud texture is especially
good though I wonder if there's a way to make them look less flat? Maybe a sky
sphere would work?

It looks like a shadow of the pawn "projected" on the sky
I don't think it was on purpose.

In any case, it's another superb image!

Thanks everyone, I've uploaded Sunset by Abe Madey (tidied up the code a little)
and my Black Pawn Sunset source to binary.scene-files.

There is no fancy HDR/radiosity lighting, only a strong light source and a disc
with a spherical poly-wave pigment.

The "brighter colors" to the top-left of the pawn (nicely pointed out by Kurtz,
thanks) is the media/shadow, the source code will hopefully explain it better
than me!

Have fun!
